Smart Toy Choice is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and in several manufacturer affiliate programs. This page explains what that means in practice.
The short version
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a commission. The price you pay is the same either way. No brand pays us for a verdict, a ranking, or a place in a list.
How the links work
- Affiliate links are marked with
rel="sponsored"in the page source. - Clicking one may set a cookie from the retailer (for example, Amazon) so the sale can be attributed. That cookie is set by the retailer, not by us.
- We do not receive your name, address, payment details, or order contents. We receive aggregate commission reports.
- Prices on this site are indicative. The live price is always the one shown on the retailer’s page at checkout.
What we will not do
- Rank a product higher because it pays a higher commission.
- Remove a negative finding because a brand is a partner.
- Publish a review written or approved by the brand.
- Show a price we cannot verify. Where a figure appears, it is labelled as approximate and dated.
Programs we participate in
Amazon Associates, together with direct affiliate programs operated by toy and electronics manufacturers. The specific programs may change over time; the disclosure obligation does not.
Editorial independence
Commission revenue is not attributed to the person writing an article, and no compensation depends on the verdict given. Our methodology page describes how a verdict is reached and how manufacturer samples are handled.
