What this site is
Smart Toy Choice is an independent editorial site about toys and technology for children. We publish buying guides, comparisons, and safety research. We do not manufacture, sell, or ship anything. Every product we write about is something we have researched from the outside — manuals, standards documents, owner reports, and conversations with people who bought it.
Our content is not professional advice
Nothing on this site is medical, legal, or safety certification advice. When we cite a standard — the WHO/ITU 75 dB listening limit for children, the CPSC toy safety rules, an AAP screen-time recommendation — we are reporting what that body says, not telling you what to do with your own child.
Toy safety depends on the specific child, the specific product, and the specific way it is used. If you have a genuine safety concern about a product, contact the manufacturer and report it to the CPSC at SaferProducts.gov. Do not rely on this site for that.
Accuracy, and how we handle being wrong
Prices, availability, and specifications change without notice. We state the month a price was checked, and we do not guarantee it is current today.
If you find something on this site that is wrong — a broken claim, an outdated price, a standard we cited incorrectly — tell us through the contact page. We correct factual errors and note the correction rather than quietly editing the page. That policy is not a marketing line; it is the reason the site exists.
